Crystal Grain begins as a natural mineral—quarried, then engineered into beautiful granules that belong in any living space.
Every nutrient a plant needs is already infused within the granules. There's nothing more to mix, nothing more to add.
A slow, deliberate release — engineered around a three-phase structure
Within each granule, nanometer-scale pores hold a reserve of nutrients. Through natural adsorption equilibrium, those nutrients are released gradually and gently, supporting healthy root growth for approximately one to two years.

Around the roots, Crystal Grain recreates the same three-phase structure found in healthy soil: mineral granules form the solid phase, nutrient-rich water forms the liquid phase, and the spaces between granules create the air phase that roots need to breathe.
The result is a naturally balanced growing environment that closely mirrors fertile soil while maintaining a stable pH of 6.8–7.0.

A cleaner kind of indoor growing
Crystal Grain contains no organic matter for soil microorganisms or common indoor pests to feed on. Its mineral composition stays clean, odor-free, and well suited to spaces where traditional soil is less practical—from apartments and offices to care facilities.
Water you can actually see
Unlike ordinary soil, Crystal Grain lets you see moisture at a glance.
When the granules are fully hydrated, they appear gray. As they dry, they gradually return to white, making it easy to know when it's time to water—without digging into the pot or relying on guesswork.

Made to be renewed, not replaced
The mineral structure remains stable through years of watering instead of breaking down like conventional potting soil.
When nutrients are eventually depleted, the granules are designed to be renewed rather than discarded. This renewable approach reduces waste while extending the life of the growing medium for years.
Dedicated regeneration products are already available in Japan and will be introduced to North America in the future.
